Title: How long did it take your brake pads to seat? Better pads available?
Post by: JustWantToRide on August 24, 2011, 02:53:58 AM
Once I have an engine broken in, then breaking in new disk brake pads can be done pretty quick with some brake dragging and hard stops - but I don't want to do that just yet.  So far it feels like the brake pads are made of wood.  Since they haven't seated yet - I wonder if I should bother or just buy some grippier pads?

Ferodo platinum - best pads I have ever used - on all my bikes over 10 years+
