Title: Quick Question on engine code

Hi all!!

I have a Super8 125cc, but there is no section for it, seeing as its a motor question i have i thought this section would be more suitable, admins please move if u see fit :)..

My question is a simple one... I know I have a GY6 motor in my scoot, but which variant? and also will anything from these GY6 performance websites fit (exhausts in specific).. i cant believe how many parts there are for this scooter if this is true!!

Hi Courior, the engine on the Super 8 is a KL25 KDU engine, the barrel and piston are GY6, as for exhausts...the barrel mountings can be very different ie. different angles, stud diameters and centres, at the other end mountings can be all over the place, so buy one which is specified as fitting Super 8, either 125 or 150. If you post on Super 8 150 you may get more ideas.
