Title: New underbelly panel
Post by: heymax63 on April 01, 2012, 09:29:04 PM
Where can I purchase a new underbelly panel for my 2008 Super 9. I just discovered where a rock took a chunk out.

Thanks, I checked there but they didn't carry my model for parts but I might give them a call.

Take it off,  Get a small can of Bondo,  some pop rivets
and some thin alum.  (even a pop can).  If the hole is big,
use the alum. patch on the back,  coat it on the front with
Bondo, sand it and paint it.  if you don't have the tools to
do this,  borrow some and you'll save a lot of money and time
waiting on delivery.  These panels can take a lot of abuse from
Gravel and likely will break another place later.   Doesn't have to
be perfrct because it's behi9nd the tire anyway.   Come to think of it.
You can even  JB Weld or Bondo the patch instead of pop rivets.
