I agree with you a 100% blue, the helmet is not an Accessory but something to protect one of the most important parts of your body, your head. What really get's me going is people driving with no helmet, tank top and flip flops!.

Goddam, how do they keep the employees from barfing in the bucket while they're mixing up that crap???????? That looked like a horror film from my childhood. I will never be able to eat another dog again. Why didn't they show us that in junior high instead of all that american 'civics' or whatever that class was that I always fell asleep in? Oh, yeah, wear your helmet, I forgot what the thread was about. Or your head will look like that bowl of diarrhea before they squeezed it into the tube.

McDonald's Conspiracy Exposed! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAwyaEiaE9k#ws)

This video is so stupid. You showed a video of cows being beaten, fine, where is your proof that this was a McDonald's run farm? And the number stuff just proves you are a kook. BTW, I don't like McDonalds...I just hate stupid people like you more.

All this piece of sh*t cared about was if the guy lied about the source? No helmet vote.........
Now there is an idea... A helmet / no helmet system. It will work till I get my wish.

Minus the bones of course. Did you know taco bell meat comes out of plastic lined steel drums as a semi opaque paste? It congeals with heat looking like meat.

It's only 35% tree anyway. The rest is re-cycled tires, road dirt. Technically they can't be called trees. Trires maybe? not tree's

Every edible part of an animal should be used. Makes sense to me. That being said, I'll take a hot dog over McNuggets, or worse Taco bell, anyday.

5 Cock Soup! :D

Hey, if I was raised eating it, no big deal. Would I try it? Depends on how much I had to drink.

It's different with a hot dog or sausage because everything is ground together. I might have trouble swallowing solid chunks of bull penis.

I love watching these young studs on their rice burners/pocket rockets with a full face helmet proped up on top of their coconut. It only takes that one mistake by someone, not even you to become a mess on the side of the road.

Helmets are more important then fuel in my opinion and right up there with brakes on the list of important stuff to have on a scoot.

A helmet is more than an accessory, but a vital part of your safety when riding. Unless you are single (sans spouse girl or boyfriend), with no living family members, have no one or ones that you are responsible for -- spouse, children, etc ... than you are robbing them of you if you are killed due to a helmet related injury, or robbing somone else of their normal life by makeing them an accidental caretaker for you if you have life altering (paralyzed, bound to a wheelchair, traumatic brain injuries, or more) injury.

I know there's the joy of having the wind on you face and everything, and it's all romantic, but seriously, it's just bullsh**. Riding is a dangerous activity, even with a full face helmet, but the job of the rider is to constantly manage the factors that can lead to a crash, or to minimize their injuries as much as possible.

Regret sucks, especially in those moments of a crash when you wish you were more protected, or en the days, weeks, or years afterwards, when the face in the mirror is permanently deformed and is NOT the you you once knew.

The pavement is a harsh teacher.

What about the Sikh's right to wear only a turban on his head and nothing else. It is forbidden to wear any kind of hat, cap, or helmet on a Sikh's head.  Will the law apply to them?

A friend of mine with whom I used to ride motorcycles early in 2000s died this weekend riding his XJR1300, he was 33 y.o.. He was wearing full gear including jacket, gloves, helmet, trousers and shoes.

The speed was also low/moderate. He hit a spot of unknown liquid on the asphalt (oil or transmission fluid), probably highsided and hit the fence pole. Dead on spot.
I will not post the pictures, even though they are on the Internet.

I am all for the riding gear, but what really kills people on two wheels are rocks by the side of the road and traffic signs/poles. This is the second person I know that dies this way, a colleague of mine died exactly two summers ago one mile away from office when he hit "no parking poles" at a very low speed and died from internal injuries.

This is why you can lowside on racing track at 150 mph and walk away with a bad memory and die at 10 mph in traffic.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about that Axy. My condolences for your friend and his family. Highside crashes are always brutal and are a reminder of how dangerous riding can be -- no matter what's worn. Road hazards are probably the biggest dangers out there -- from potholes to objects -- hubcaps to mattresses, but spills, sand and gravel -- they're the worse.

Sometimes the "law" is the problem. We don't need laws to be safe. Just proper education and common sense. People do (or don't) do things because of the "Law".

You have to buckle up inside a car but you can ride at the back of a pick-up truck without any safety harness? Why? because there's no law against it.

Law makers don't even know what helmet specs are, they just make laws for whatever reason they think is right.

There are laws against riding in the back of a pick-up truck, guess it depends on where you are.

http://www.iihs.org/laws/mapcargoareas.aspx (http://www.iihs.org/laws/mapcargoareas.aspx)

I believe in places like Montana (someone correct me if I'm wrong) drinking and driving is not against the law.

http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=29936 (http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=29936)

I agree that common sense and eduction should prevail, but in too many cases it doesn't. Sometimes the law is designed to protect people, even from themselves.
