Title: Go pro hero
Post by: sentinex on May 04, 2012, 12:07:50 AM
Hi guys, I just picked up a GoPro Hero camera and I have to say i am pretty impress in the recording, the one of the things I have to decipher is what is the best recording mode since it goes from WVGA all the way to 1080p, does anyone who has one has any tips when using to record in helmet mount? Any tips are extremely appreciated. Oh I picked up the Helmet Hero HD.

I have mine set to 960-30 I am using 2 batteries and 32 gig memory cards. This is giving me around 5 hours of recording so far in my testing. I have 4 batteries and 2 memory cards. I am testing now getting ready for a trip in June. BTW I have it mounted on the windshield just above the KC emblem on my DT300I. If it ever quits raining around here I will wash it and take some pictures.

I've been looking at the Contour Roam and the Midland XTC 200 since I am too cheap to pay for a Go Pro HD. Plus I don't like how big the GoPro is since I will be mounting mine on my helmet.

I mounted the goPro on my Helmet. the camera is not that big, if something is real small. The camera is so small because it has no extras like a viewfinder or lcd screen.
