does anyone know where i can get a derestricted cdi from? for my kymco super 9 ac

They have dc to ac converters, cdi's with/without restriction

 If you've disconnected the revlimiter is there any need/benifit for one of these?

Not really no. Even the most expensive brands have little to no timing changes. Just no limit on rpm

..my derestricted oem cdi will allow 12,000 rpms....
