Title: People 150 choke
Post by: boo on July 08, 2012, 03:32:45 PM
Does the 150 come with a manual choke?.

Reason for asking is, my wife is considering one and I was wondering how well the manual choke works, if it uses one.

Thanks boo

Likely has an auto choke. IMO manual choke is better.

Must have an auto choke.  There is not a manual choke on my '05.

If there's a choke on my '07, it's auto.

Almost always some type of choke on engines with carburetors. Lawn mowers and weed whackers sometimes have a primer. Same thing. You have an auto choke. Also called an auto bystarter.

Thanks for answering my question.

The reason I ask was, I had read a post on this board somewhere where someone had just purchased a used 150 and stated that an auto choke had been installed on the scoot.

That is why I began wondering about the 150 choke.

Thanks boo
