Title: "Just my imagination"

Bought a new Xciting500Ri at the beginning of the year.
When I first started riding the 500 I noticed that it
sounded very "scooterish" with the typical modest
exhaust sound. Now that it has close to a 1000 miles
on it I've noticed the exhaust has developed a
deeper throatier sound that is quite enjoyable. Has anyone
else out there had a change in exhaust sound with their 500
or experienced something similar? Or is it "just my imagination".

The insulation/fiber glass pack material gets more compacted with mileage that's all. :-*
