My question to y'all is, if you own one now, would you buy another one? or get a different scoot. In other words are you happy with it and the way it runs and performs.
Thanks

R'wave,
We've had our People 150 since 2004 and have put over 5,000 Kilometers on it.
My wife and I love this scooter.
2012 is the last year they are being sold . . . I actually thought about getting another one but $$$ is always an issue.

Thank you Kevin, I just bought it. It has about 160 miles on it, paid 2400 bucks. On my way back home with it strapped down in back of the van.

Rob,
Congratulations - I'm sure you will enjoy the scooter.
Is this your first ?
Let me know if you want to compare 'People 150' notes.
My wife and I had our scoots out again today - rode 88 miles on the back roads of Pennsylvania.
We both ride both scooters, but she has decided she prefers the P150.
They each ride differently - honestly I enjoy them both.

Rob,
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. A great little scooter!

Chris, probaly have owned 30 bikes over the last 40 years, but never a scooter. Rented them a few times when traveling and always had a blast on em. Looking forward to the grin factor

Thanks I'm sure I will, along with everyone else in the family :D

R'wave,
I think it's really cool that you have so much experience on so many bikes.
With that perspective, you'll really appreciate the scooter for what it is - a fun little machine.
If others in your family are new riders this would be a good place for them to start.
We have a versahaul [http://www.versahaul.com/ (http://www.versahaul.com/)] and a class 3 hitch on the mini-van.
It's really nice to take the scoot on vacation.
That way we have an extra vehicle when one or two of us want to do something different.

That rack looks to be a quality build, made in USA to boot. Did you get the ramp?
I'm afraid to admit how many cars/trucks, bikes and boats I own ;D
-
R'Wave,
I've had mine for years. When I bought it the ramp was included.
It probably still is as you'd need it to load the scoot.

just bought a 2005 150 Aprilia beo with 1200 miles. Let me flog it a bit and I'll check in with my thoughts. 8)

The Aprilia's are premo rides. I had a 500 a few years back. The only problems I had
was the slow "launch" (fixed with some new clutch springs) and high maintenance costs
(oil filter $15!). Parts come on the slow boat from Italy too. They usually have a bit
more power (which everybody is looking for) and hold their value well. That was a great
price too!

how did you know I only paid 1600 bucks for it ;D
-
R'wave,
So you've had the P150 a while.
What do you think ?
How many miles have you put on it ?
KZ
-
I enjoy it a lot, only put a couple hundred miles on it so far. Trying to get my wife used to it.

Did these scoots come with any kind of manuals? I have nothing with mine...
Thanks

They come with an owners manual. You can download it here:
