Title: Warranty Question?
Post by: mrmike on March 10, 2013, 06:08:42 PM
Last June I sold my Harley and bought a new (2010) Kymco People 150. Last fall I sold it to get a bigger scooter (2012) Kymco People GTI300. My question is if the warranty on the 150 carries over if the new owner needs it. The 150 only had about 1500 KM when I sold it. Is the Kymco warranty transferrable to the new owner? The two Kymcos were bought from two different dealers.

I believe with Kymco it does carry over to the new owner but you might have to
go to the dealer to document it somehow... I've read Sym doesn't but Kymco does...

omg theres that warranty word again. yes go to the dealer and get it in writeing.
If they want they can pay extra to make the warranty last longer. but they may wana look the bike over. kymco does get picky about there warrantys so get all you can in writing I learned the hard way. they had to rebuild my engine and I had a hell of a time geting theam to pay for it. I had to come up with 250 bucks and they did the reast so not to bad for a rebulid motor.
