Title: Time to ban running
Post by: 08087 on April 15, 2013, 10:03:30 PM
2 bombs went off today in Boston during a running road race, 2 killed and dozens injured, with our gov's logic they will now ban running (all bombs are against the law all ready), what do you have to say?

Ban public schools -- blame the Newtown victims. Same difference. Idiotic and childish.

It's the same as blaming guns, guns don't do anything that people don't make them do. I can kill a person with a butter knife, a hammer, a car, etc... but the gov isn't affraid of those. Something like a dozen or more were just attacked in Texas with a knife, so why not ban them?

If you defend taking away of guns will you defend taking away your freedom of speach? They've started taking away your freedom to assemble, no gathering around the WH or other gov buildings, etc... little by little, they will take it all.

08, you beat me into this... this was the first thing that came into mind when I heard the news...

ban running, ban running shoes, ban spectators, ban marathons

next would be NASCAR, NBA, the Mardi Gras!!!

let's write a letter to Obama!

Uh... how many died in what span of time?

Now, give that idiot a semi-auto .223 with 30+ round magazines. Do you think the math would be similar?

If so, I know not to pay attention to your opinions.

I mean, cruise missiles don't do anything that people don't make them do, either. However, I don't want Billy Bob down the street having one in his possession, either.

One can't slice tomatoes with either a cruise missile or a Bushmaster AR-15. No. They have one use.

14 were attacked, none died (luckily) but theg could have easily. I could drive a car through a crowd of people and kill many, mord people die in drunk driving crashes each yr then with rifles, and news for you is driving is a priviledge while owning guns are a right. You card to give up freedom of speech yet?

You don,t dtop a bad gug eith a gjn by tsking away thd guns of good people, uoh arm ghe good people and crime dtops. It,s been proven ykme snd tkme again. Look at Chicago snd DC for crime and their strict gun laws.

Bingo! Nothing wrong with the weapon, it's the leaders in this case men that control the triggers.

JP: I agree that we should have "some" more control on gun purchases. BTW...I live just outside of Boston. Now with that being said....Example: Young man kills 20+ kids in CT. & guns are to blame. Bomb goes off in the Boston marathon & a "person or people" are to blame! See where I'm going with this? If you're "evil" & want to create destruction, then you'll make it happen one way or another! It's not the "tool" it's the person my friend! That's the problem!

I know what I am about to say may shock many of you, but Sandy Hook has proven to be a false flag attack. If you want proof of this, go to www.nodisinfo.com (http://www.nodisinfo.com) and see for yourselves. Sandy Hook was organized by the White House in an effort to take away our guns in the name of national security. Adam Lanza was not even the culprit. Even those menancing photos of him are fake. They were all photo shopped.(ONE CAN NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY READ ON THE INTERNET) I am happy Obama did not get his way with the failed assault weapons ban which failed in the U.S. Senate. I prefer to stay away from politics since all of us have different viewpoints. I respect your viewpoints as long as you respect mine. It is okay to agree to disagree.

They even confiscate toy guns these days....  anyway....  what I see here is the lack of governance.. the failure of government to administer... When a crime or crimes are committed, government should work to get the perpetrators and maybe formulate logical  laws to prevent a future repetition of the crime.  Banning some act or thing is not a solution to a problem because the desire to commit a crime on some people is still there. Identifying the problem is the most critical part of the solution.  However, that's just being idealistic...  the real problem is the existence of bad politicians...

Vivo you touched on it and I'll follow up. They allow criminals to walk among us, early release, light terms or in many cases no term of prison at all, then they lock up good people for having a squirt gun.

I refer to this new world order as OZ, we are not in kansas anymore, that is for sure.

Right 08, and it's not exclusive to the U.S. of A., it's happening all over the world...

Recently, a General here was acquitted because he made a deal to return some of the money he stole.... and a poor man gets the jail for stealing a piece of bread...
