Title: Help me out here guys, my agility 125 is clattering on the right side
Post by: 2010iron883n on May 23, 2013, 09:10:39 PM
just had a new crank , piston rings, and seals put in my 2007 agility 125. Mechanic said it looked like new inside. Anyhow i rode it a little today and it started clattering on the right side. i think it is the magneto. Can a magneto make that kinda noise? this engine was just completely disassembled. I dont have a puller to take it off is the only problem. Now i guess ill have to haul it an hr to get it checked. im praying it is the magneto. it runs like it did the day i bought it brand new. The crank was fine till i screwed it up the first time i messed with it, had no idea to take the tension off the belt.

can the cam chain guide come loose, then the chain would smack the tensioner? is this a possible problem that could happen. .

Ok , I am gonna post what happened. it was the gear on the oil pump rattling behind the safety plate. Its is fixed and no damage done.
