Hey Guys,
Back with more! Since I had to replace my coil with an aftermarket one after ripping it in half accidentally (similar design to this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Performance-Coil-Carburetor-model-Cygnus-X-BWS-125-YW125-NXC125-/231032338270?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35ca99b75e (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Performance-Coil-Carburetor-model-Cygnus-X-BWS-125-YW125-NXC125-/231032338270?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35ca99b75e) ) I installed it and worked just fine. After riding around for a bit the bike quit again. Thankfully was close to home so I pushed it the two blocks back. Upon inspection I saw that the boot had been shattered and left dangling. Looking at the plug, the terminal stud was bent down. I put in a new plug and just said "Screw the boot" and put the coil wire directly onto the stud for just S's & G's. It started right up again like nothing happened. Took it on a little ride because why not...curiosity I guess to see if this hillbilly jimmy rig could actually work (even though I know it's not getting the proper airflow across engine) After checking out the new plug again I noticed that the stud was bent down slightly again. With trouble shooting it appears that the frame of the bike is hitting on the stud when I hit a bump and compress the rear spring. Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this or since I am the size of a NFL tight-end should I change the stiffness of my rear spring? Thanks again guys! Just want to ride more on this $130, 3k mile super fever!

Ive had a 350 lbs guy ride my zx50 with out that happening. Kinda crazy thats happening because there should be plenty of room in there, but man that sucks. Id def try a better "performance" spring.
