Title: Can we see a picture of each member's scooter??!

I think we all enjoy seeing pictures of scoots with some info from the owners!
If you have a picture of your scooter - would you please post it here?
(if you need help posting a picture - lots of people here could talk you through it)
2012 LIKE 200i LX 163cc (purchased new 4/2013), 2300 miles, @80mpg, commuting daily to work - rain/shine, runs perfectly when I remember the kill switch!

Please ID your scoot for us.....Example >>>: "2009 People 50cc"
And maybe a bit of info: , miles on the odometer, reliability to date, MPG, commuting with it daily, leisure ride?, if you haven't a photo - maybe go to ww.bing.com/images copy and paste a picture of one like yours!

What do we have here - a People what and a cream colored what?
Both the People and the cream colored one are very appealing to the eye of one who likes most big-wheel scoots and the vintage shaped ones! Very handsome pair , but what are they and how many miles and how are they behaving for you?!

I am a full time RV'er in Montana for the summer and headed to Arizona in November for the winter. My last fun trip was hwy 38 in Montana over Skalkaho Pass, beautiful scenery but about 12 miles of Gravel/Dirt road. Planning a trip to Glacier Park in the near future, I will try and get some picsof the Scooter on the trip.

Hipster killer with 6.5hp engine, now engine has a cam, intake, carb, exhaust, no limiter, lightened fly wheel, connecting rod, piston, and valve springs. Itll do 55 faster than most street bikes can but then its done. This bike has claimed many layers of skin.

Kind of the point...after all we ride scooters because we like to be a little different...anyone can get a bianchi in celeste green :)

Yeah, break in is not so fun - pays dividends for the life of your scooter, though. I used the time to get myself broken in to scooter riding as well. It had been 43 yrs since I'd been on 2 wheels.

Bought the People new in 2010 and I got the ZX for $125. Got About $225 total into the Z including new tires.

The physical size is similar to a Cushman Eagle, but that's where the similarity ends. This bike is very similar to the original Mustangs made in the 40's, 50's, and 60's in California. Top speed is near 75 mph with a 5 speed transmission. A BLAST!!

The engine was a 312cc flat head single with about 13 HP. It ended it's life in the fender of a Ford station wagon. Here is a pic of that model...

Got it cheap. Think it was a theft recovery. Plastic needs work, but it runs great! I'll need to stick another $150 in parts in it to put it back to the condition I'd like it to be. It's in my kitchen and I pull it to this spot and work on it when I have time.

My first scooter, a TaoTao ATM50-A1. Used and badly dogged out. Real PITA...took it back to the shop I bought it from.

My second scooter, a TaoTao CY50-T3. Ran great, but too many headaches with the dealer (over parts) made me give it back.

My third (and final) ChiCom scooter, a SunL SL50QT which I bought from a guy on Craigslist. Paid to have an 80cc BBK installed and the engine fried itself senseless. I gave it to a friend that rebuilt it with a 100cc BBK...I'm actually glad I got rid of it.

And now, on to Metreaus. I also bought it from a guy on Craigslist ($425, came with clean title and cover). Had 22,000 kilos on the odometer when I bought it and 300 more have been tacked on since. I f--ken love this thing! First photo is when I test drove the bike...

After being pleased with its miraculous performance, I bought it and brought it in for a good scrub down. It was sitting for a while, as the previous owner (who owns 5 cars) had no use for it.

My daughter's softball team mate in the dug-out ,"Your grandpa played catch with me!"
The bag-boy at the grocery, to my daighter, "You always help your grandpa shop?"

Lol. I get that too. I'm in my mid 50s. It hit home when I turned 50 and my son who was 5 at the time went with me to the local bird feeding store. After purchasing several feeders the cashier commented that backyard birding makes for a wonderful grandfather, grandson moments. Jacob just laughed and laughed.

say what you want about chinese bikes, but for me it beats buying a ruck and having to do a gy6 conversion, or buying one already done (expensive)

I never built a frame stabilizer for the bike so I was a bit concerned but honestly it is all over so quickly you really don't have time to think about it. It's about 40 seconds for a mile run, and the entire time is spent on focusing on the engine tone so life, and limb take the bitch seat, and piston health becomes the primary concern. It's one F'd up hobby. I HAVE to sell this thing before it kills me. I'll even throw in the Flac jacket. (hint/hint)

I decided the next girl in my life is gonna be called Calothrix... Whether she likes it or not
