I will do that, I saw in one of those posts that turning the pilot screw in (clockwise) will make it leaner. However, the service manual states that if it's too rich you should: "Mixture too rich (turn screw out)"

Automatic choke replaced but it still runs rich when idle, I'm thinking it's the idle needle since I've checked everything else.

It will? I was told that the Dellorto manual choke won't fit the Kymco 4 stroke original carbs?

Yep, the spark plug is all black so it's def getting a rich mixture. Any one tried a non original auto choke? The original one is so expensive...

Agility 50 / High idle problem
« on: July 02, 2010, 01:30:47 PM »
My Agility has a very funny problem. When I stop at a redilight for example and let go of the throttle, the idle is too high. I can feel the variator wanting to drive it forward. To get it down I have to give a little throttle and then let go, then I get the real idle rpm. Or I could wait 30s or so for it to come down, but sometimes it comes back up again.

Anyone had this problem? Could it indicate a problem with the auto choke? Besides this problem it runs fine, very easy to start and the top speed is as it should be, 45kmh, given it's not modified.
