Technical | How To / Re: 2008 KYMCO AGILITY 125 BELT SIZE????

Sorry for replying late, but better late, than never.
It in the end it appears that it was not the belt after all as we had a really good look at it and it doesn't look worn and the symptoms I'm getting now are loss of power, not revving etc. I will post a new thread.
Thank You kindly for everyone who contributed with feedbacks, much appreciated.

Viper:
Been doing some research, looks like it's a 781x20x30x9.5
Most of the one's that state my model number are overseas and I need one rather urgent....
If I know the measurements, then my chances of buying one locally are quite good.
It appears that the measurements I just mentioned are correct....but still looking for feedback if anyone knows "for sure"....

Viper254:
Checked the rollers yesterday, they look fine, no flat spots at all.
As mentioned in my reply to Tromper, we are replacing the belt once I find the right size! I've posted a new topic regarding this..
Thanks,
William

Hello dear readers :)
I need to replace the belt on my 2008 Kymco Agility.
I've read online conflicting information with regards to actual measurements of the belt.
I've contacted a few belt manufacturers and they tell me that I need to tell them the measurements as the only number that is printed on my old belt (23100 KEC4 9000) does not help them to find correct belt size.

Does anyone know for certain the correct belt size for my scooter?

Thanks in Advance,
William

Tromper:
It feels like I'm in top gear when taking off....also...scooter appears to be revving less....
I noticed that it happens about 5-8 minutes after I start riding...it's an intermittent problem...we took the cover off yesterday and found that the rollers were good...but the belt had a few fatigue spots and we are in the process of finding the right belt now...
Thanks for feedback

Hey Viper, thanks for feedback.
The bike is a 2008 model and has 9000kms on it.
If rollers are faulty, is it common for them to play up intermittently?
I keep thinking in terms of a clutch or a gearbox, or pretty much anything really...if it's worn, it will malfunction all the time....rather than on and off...hope I'm making sense :)
Anyhow, I will investigate more and will follow up with an update once we find problem.
Thank You again.

Ok, so this is what's happening:
Sometimes when I take off from the lights, I accelerate but the scooter simply doesn't move at normal speed, it gets really slow and I get the sensation that I'm taking off in top gear. Also, when this happens, I feel like the bike is not revving high enough as it usually revs when taking off normal.
I mention this to mate and he suggested that a common problem with scooters is "belts slipping", and that it was an easy fix. I'm hoping that it is only that, and I decided to post this in an effort to get some feedback in the chance that someone on this forum has had the same problem.
This issue is occurring intermittently, I'd say 2 or 3 times out of 10 times.
Any feedback would be valued.
William
