A new carb is quick and cheap. The dealer is 30 miles away, plus I'd have to miss work and find someone to take it. I don't have many options.

As far as troubleshoot, it has spark, gas is getting to the carb, it's getting air, so??

First, I can't find much info at all on my scooter... like drive belt size, CDI info, etc. It's funny, the manual tells the valve clearance but not the belt size?!? (Yes, I know I can take the cover off and look, but I'm fat and getting old, so I want to go in there only ONCE to change the belt and rollers!)

But, the real issue is now it's broken down. Riding home the other day, it just lost power. Felt like I hit the brakes hard when it happened, but I didn't. It continued to run, but very little power. When I finally stopped, it idled down and cut off. Now it won't crank.

It turns over, but doesn't "fire." I replaced the spark plug and looked for spark, it has spark. Took the fuel line loose after the filter, pressed the starter button, and fuel flowed. Took the air intake loose going into the carb and sprayed starter fluid. Nothing.

I'm thinking maybe fuel isn't getting through the carb, so I ordered a cheap one off Amazon. Should be here Wednesday.

Any thoughts, y'all?
