My Gerbing heated gloves  are fabulous. I still use them even though I have heated grips as they keep my knuckles toasty! Also my RAM ball that allows me to connect a number of different bits to the bike. Extra Sat nav, mobile phone, cup holder, dash camera etc.

I have to hold my button in for a longer time-maybe 7 seconds.
When I had a service the heated grips didn't work for the first few rides. I was told this is normal and sure enough  it started working as normal after it was cycled on and off a few more times.
Do you know what other component is on the same circuit? Maybe that would give you a clue as to whether there is a break somewhere?

I am as intrigued as you, keep us informed.

You are very welcome! I'm glad to be able to help. What actually are you mounting? The in-built Sat Nav works really well in my opinion.

I mounted a RAM ball mount onto the brake reservoir housing.

There is another owner who lives in Greece I think. Goes by the name Biketrips, look him up on YouTube. He films his AK550 rides all the time.
Even told me about the free upgrades Kymco rolled out recently
