I agree with the other guys, Great Bike, and the wife here would never let me think about bringing either of mine inside to work on, I feel lucky to get room in the garage sometimes, SHE VACUUMS the garage! Fortunately for me it gets reasonably cool here at night.

I found the part by just doing a search on the part number, price was $23.00.

As soon as I know what all the parts I need are I'll order, shipping can be high if I did them one at a time.

Well I got home and hooked the battery back up leaving the cvt cover off I hit the starter just to see if the kick start had been binding things up, no improvement. The starter motor turns over but does not crank the motor. Guess I'll just have to pull it apart. So I'm stuck waiting for a flywheel puller.

Hi,

I was wondering, I have a people 150 I'm helping a buddy with. The starter does not turn the motor over, the kick start is messed up and was bound up tight, I was not able to move it at all.

I pulled the starter motor and it checks out just fine.

The gear for the kick start is chewed up, not the half moon one on the kick itself. Will these bind things up enough to keep the starter motor from being able to turn the motor over?

Zombie,

Thanks, btw I've used this screen name online for years, you are the first to actually make a connection, come by the clinic and I'll see what I can do for your problems.

I guess I need to go see a eye doctor, I looked on that site and didn't see that part listed in the starter/klick start pages.

Hi,

If somebody has this part, I'd appreciate a chance at it.

28230-KBN-9010  GEAR COMP KICK DRIVEN

This one is kind of shot, my buddy wants his kick start to work.

I think I'll be needing a starter clutch too, possibly a starter reduction gear.

When I get it apart, I'll know more. I'm waiting for a flywheel puller.

People 150 / Help

Hi,

A buddy of mine has a 2002 150cc People. He is having trouble with nit and the local dealer went out of business. I'm helping him work on it since I have some experience with scooters. Problem is I am having trouble finding a source for parts. Do any of you have a place you order them from that offers good value and service?

Thanks for the help.

I looked in the for sale area and found two places that were suggested. Finding more though would be great.
