For Sale / 2009 People 250S (Sacramento)
« on: July 17, 2013, 10:33:57 PM »
2009 Kymco People 250 S, with 6k miles.  It is freeway legal and easily keeps up with traffic with a top speed in excess of 80mph! I was amazed at how quick it is, my wife thinks its a really comfortable bike for the passenger. Gets 60+mpg, easy to handle and can park just about anywhere. Has lots of underseat storage and a Givi top box with a brake light also in the box for extra safety. Underseat storage even has a plug in for charging cell phones, etc. It has 16" wheels for a smoother ride, twin disc brakes up front and single disc in the rear. It has been well maintained, never dropped, always garage stored. Recent oil change and valve adjustment.

SOLD

People 250 / Re: Fuse box location?

Thanks, I found it.  Located next to the battery, but you have to take out the underseat storage panel (4 bolts) to access it.  Not exactly convenient if you are stuck on the side of the road!

I have a 2009 250S, don't have the workshop manual. does anyone know the location of the main fuse box?  My "Met in" connector has no power, so I want to check the fuses.

Thanks

Hmmn, not quite the wealth of information on this subject as I had hoped for?

Does this mean nobody has taken off the plastic covers to adjust their brake lever angle?

Or is it that no-one can figure out how to take off the plastic covers??

People 250 / Brake lever adjustment?

Hi, just bought a 250S a few weeks ago and really don't like the angle of the brake levers.  I would like to angle them a bit more down.  Does anyone know if this can be done?  Also is there some tricks to getting the plastic covers off from around the handlebars?  I took out all the screws and the windscreen, mirrors, but it doesn't want to move?  I downloaded the manual, but that is a bit of a joke as far as any detailed directions go.
