wow.... notreally easy disassembly the clutch... maybe is better changing only rollers and try again, but how can i open a dealer account in racing planet? There is only the customer account, and anyway it says to fill the company fields if you are a dealer, and i haven't any company! How can i do? malossi multivar is 65€, i found it for 50 in ebay, they have also naraku var, a bit cheaper, is it good in your opinion?

THANKS

hi zombie thanks for reply, the carter is the "cover" of trasmission system, the black iron piece that cover variator belt cluth ecc. anyway, thanks for the help maybe i'll change the variator but why untill i changed the rollers it was good (poor yes but better than now) and now it seems died? maybe the rollers too heavy? yes maybe but why the seller gave me that one if I asked him the original ones? Today I'll try to change them with the old ones, and try again.

Another question, my agility has 25000km (all with restrictions), is a good idea for you invest so much money? Maybe 5-10000km and the engine will die, or anyway if a new engine can reach 40-45mph  what my old engine can do?

and the spring what is? I don't know i'm sorry  ;D

another thing, i don't understand this part

Quote
The belt is NOT going all the way to the top of the Var tho. I think your pulleys may be sticking part way closed or the rollers are too light.
Take the pulleys off the back, and dis-assemble them. Grease the parts LIGHTLY, and put it all back together. (to be sure it is working)
what i have to do? disassembly the clutch?  where can i find these pulleys? and what do you mean for "The belt is NOT going all the way to the top of the Var tho"

Thank you thank you thank you

UPDATE: I' ve just put the rollers on the balance (kitchen balance, but just to try):
old  rollers= 24g all together
new rollers= 39g all together

I think this is the problem yes? For the variator, do you know if there is a cheaper (but good) one? In italy about 60€ for a malossi and the same for a polini
I'm sorry again but you can reply only once a day so i try to ask you all my doubts, thank you thank you again!!

hi zombie i'm sorry but i didn't understand well your previous message, i've already bough a new cdi, today i tryed it, it goes a bit better, but it goes at 50 kmh (2 on the bike) after maybe 20 minutes with engine on, i think is too much also in winter, or not? here in venice we have 10° celsius, not so cool...

Anyway, i tryed to disassembly (is right disassembly? or dismount?  ;D ) the variator, I'm posting some pictures of that, maybe i got wrong when i change rollers and belt

First problem: after disassembly the carter this piece has fallen, do you know what is? I didn't see from where it fell

Next step, i see this all mounted

this the situation after removing first part of variator

https://www.dropbox.com/s/02vvctsj4an01c9/20141203_122058.jpg?dl=0

it it right the belt over the drive boss? and is mounted on the correct side? with "teeth" against the drive boss?

This the variator open, are the rollers mounted well?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/h670ag7sv8nxlys/20141203_122234.jpg?dl=0

this is the belt with the serial number, is correct for my scooter?

finally, the rollers are 13x16x6.5g, if i go alone the accelleration is obviously better but really not so much, it was better before changing rollers, but i ask the seller the original rollers, i don't understand why i have this big difference, I hope that I did something wrong  :'( :'(

Thank you again zombie!!

The one you posted is different from my cdi, i have 5 pin not 4+2, and yes the price is great but from china to italy is 40 days shipping, not very good  :(

What do you think about this variator? How much more speed will i take?

up: I've just tryed to cut more the cdi, I'm sure that I cut the wire inside that, now the scooter reach 55 km/h and downhill I don't feel any restriction, but there's another problem, it seems that have only one gear, from 0 to 40km/h it goes at very low rpm, and from 40 to 55 it goes better, could you tell me why? before cutting it goes always at high rpm and the accelleration was better, why? Thanks again
