Exhalent99, That was a great video. Top notch.  I have to adjust mine this weekend as I have a feeling mine are a little loose from the clatter. Thanks, jeff

TroutBum, When I replaced the stock belt last month I noticed a good deal of black belt dust in the CVT. I just cleaned it out and checked everything and all looked well. I am keeping the old belt (only has 3900 miles on it) for my spare. Jeff

TroutBum, I added the windshield, backrest, drink holder, white wall tires, and I modified the intake track by removing the restriction at the inlet to the air box. I replaced the inlet tube with a larger (1 1/4") inlet tube and  replaced the paper filter with a K&M flat foam washable filter element. Last month I replaced the stock belt with a Malossi Kevlar belt and I replaced the stock plug with a performance plug. I am able to cruise at 60 mph with a top speed so far of 63 and i am getting as high as 70 mpg. I just got back from a 60 mile after dinner ride. I am in the process of reshaping the stock seat foam and adding 2" of memory foam to make the seat long ride friendly. I wish the Like had a 2 or 3 gallon tank as the rest of the bike begs for long rides. Ride safe. Jeff

Hi all, I have had my 2012 Like 200i right at a year and it just turned over 4050 miles. I have made a few modifications that both make the scoot faster and also more comfortable. My next mod is to make the seat all day comfortable. I got caught in a Toad drowner the other day without my rain gear and I was impressed with the protection of my windshield. Jeff

I Just bought an Autolite plug  (at Carquest) that is a direct replacement for the CR7HIX NGK Iridium plug and it cost me a whole $2.21 with tax. That's less than 10% of what the NGK goes for. Just thought I would share the news. JOB

:) I bought a 2012 Like 200i in May 2012 and I now have 3000 miles on it. It pulls two up very well and is easy to load on my hitch mount on the motor home. Be especially careful to do a thorough tie down as I had my scooter come part way off on an uphill section of washboard dirt road in a State Park. I think you will enjoy the scooter very much. JOB.

Big Blue I bought a Prima medium universal windshield from Scooterworks. Com It cost $74.99 and I am glad I bought it each time I hit the highway. The curved base fits the Like 200i great. Scooterworks specializes in Italian scoots but I found my cover and passenger backrest there also. The service was great. Job

Big Blue I installed an after market windshield on my Like 200 and ride was much better. There was very little wind buffeting. I did not see a decrease in speed or gas mileage. My gps speed tops out at 62 to 64 and I weigh around 220 lbs. My mileage runs from 62 to 70 depending on speed. I like to ride fast so most of my 2700 miles are highway. JOB

Axy, I may be wrong but I thought that the primary benefit to Electronic Fuel Injection is the ability to compensate for fuel octane, temperature, altitude and air density on the fly. We haven't changed the air box volume or routing we have just made the airflow more efficient, if slightly less quiet. Let me know if I am wrong. I always save all original equipment parts for re-installation late.

I removed the plug after reading your post and the high speed results were great. I picked up 2-3 MPH to a consistant 60+ MPH. I also changed out the air inlet hose that comes out of the airbox to round hose that is not tappered. I will let you know how it affects my mileage. JOB in New Mexico.
