Cavgt, sorry your having problems with your Like. No doubt that they'll find the problem. Glad to see that these things can be driven wot for long periods. I am an old Brit bike guy, mostly Royal Enfields,  Indian and English 500 Bullets. If you drive an unmodified one of these at wot for more than
a few minutes, they turn into two wheeled hand grenades. By the way, other than the intake restriction, what other restriction did you remove? cochi :) :D

Hi Steve, I'm pretty new to this forum. The folks here are knowledgable and helpful. I bought a 2013 Like 200i this past July and it's been a blast. You'll be surprised how quickly these things accelerate ti 35 mph. I have no problem keeping up with traffic. You'll also be surprised how restricted the intake and exhaust are on them. That being said, they can still scoot around quite nicely!!! However, I did remove the intake restrictor. As far as I can tell I didn't loose any torque on the bottem end and the midrange seems a little fatter. The mapping on the fuel injection system has been able to compensate for the extra air. I don't know about the top end, I haven't had the opportunity to open her up. I live in Philadelphia and it's hard to find a long run without getting onto an interstate and I avoid those like the plague!! The bikes are well built, I have almost 2000 miles on mine and have had zero problems. You and your wife will enjoy owning them. cochi ;D

Wakeupmaggie, congratulations on passing the test and getting counter steering down. The great thing about riding a two wheeled convenience, is that it's incredibally therapuetic. You will never see a motor scooter parked in front of a psychiatrist's office! cochi :)

Stig, she looks great!! It's sooooo shiny, she'll probably just slip through the air and counter steer much better!! Might even pick 10-15 mph on your top end. All kidding aside, that is one good looking scoot!! cochi ;D

Thanks for the welcome! I know that we've gotten a bit off topic, but yes Stig, I do my own servicing. The initial 600 mile service was done at the dealer. However, I'll be doing the rest. about 20 years ago, I took a break form my career, (Mid-life crisis). Since I was handy with tools, a good friend put me to work at his Yamaha store. It was a great experience and I learned much about servicing motorbikes. It was the best job I ever had and it got my fried brain back in order. I'm looking forward to learning  more about scootering from the folks here. cochi :)

Geez Stig, hope they didn't do any of those, "medical experiments", where they stick probes up where the sun don't shine. If they did, you may have to re-modify your seat modification!!! cochi :o

Stig, I have a 2013 Like 200i in red. I know that you have the blue and white. That's a gorgeous color combo. I see why you love yours! This thing is a hoot to ride and peppy as hell. It's just as quick to 30mph as my 03 Royal Enfield 500. I live in Philadelphia and I commute with it every day. I bought it this past July and I've got 1200 miles on her and she's getting better as the miles accumulate. I'm looking forward to taking some trips to the country side this spring and summer. she also counter steers beautifully!! cochi :)

Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum. I've been riding motorcycles for more years than I care to admit. I'm new to scootering and having a blast. The video posted by cosmokorny is one of the best I've seen on counter steering. Vivo thanks for starting this thread.  As for the fellow who thinks that counter steering is bunk, he may come from a parallel universe where the laws of physics are a bit different than the ones we have here! cochi ;)
