Agility 125 / Carb adjustment agility 125?
« on: October 26, 2014, 09:39:39 PM »
Hoping someone can tell me how to adjust the carb on my agility 125. I took off the seat and front "fairing" I think you call it?  I couldn't see a screw for adjustment. Do I need to take the needle out and move the C clip to adjust the carb or is there a screw. And what's the best setting. My scooter takes a long time to warm up without bogging out when given throttle. Usually have to run it down the road after warming up and still takes a while to lose the bogging

The evaporated fuel is a non issue. It's the gum / estors that are left behind that are.

Why is draining the carb even a question. It takes me 30 seconds, and one flat head screw driver.
Thanks zombie. I thought so too but tortoise confused me with the evaporation atmosphere stuff. I have basic mechanical knowledge. Just want to do it right.

The carb fuel bowl is vented to atmosphere.  Fuel stabilizers do not prevent evaporation.  If the vacuum operated fuel petcock is working properly, the bowl will not refill resulting in undesirable consequences . . which are pretty much determined by the laws of physics and storage duration.
Tortoise are you saying I shouldn't drain the carb?

Is it necessary to drain the carb and use fogging oil?

Agility 125 / Winterization questions
« on: October 24, 2014, 09:14:27 PM »
Getting ready to put my agility 125 away for the winter. Just wondering what people would suggest doing. I was going to put Startron in the gas, spray fogging oil in cylinder, drain carb, change oil and gear oil. Anything else I should or shouldn't do??

Agility 125 / Re: Should a agility 125 burn small amounts of oil?
« on: September 12, 2014, 10:53:04 PM »
Mileage on your scoot? And how do you ride it?
Intervals for doing those oil changes?
Type of oil?
These things can have an impact on oil consumption.
Stig
Mileage is 950km. I use 10w40 motorcycle oil. And I've only changed the oil once at 300km. Its a 2013 model and I usually ride about 45-55mph

Since my last oil change I've ridden my agility 125 a little over 400 miles. And I just had to top the oil off is that normal? Not a lot but it wasn't as full as when I filled it.
