Magic Eraser. Don't think it will scratch, but try a small area near the bottom to be sure. Thanks MB, I’ll try.
Wet towel, soaking on shield.Yep, that’s been my go to method in the past. Just wondered if there are any higher tech answers out there... [emoji23]
it is nice to see you young guys getting near my age, getting close to 87, in march just in time to get a spring ride in, Ill be riding a tractor all winter with the snow blower ,It’s true. “You don’t give up riding because you get old. You get old because you give up riding!â€
Triumphs nice to look at, horrible to own when ridden a lot (20-30.000 miles a year) they shook them selves apart---I know I had new '61 TR5AR 500 cc, 1962 new 6T Thunderbird, actually nice bike, but too many design draw backs....and things not worked out by maker. The British bike industry got what it deserved...death.
80, working on 81 does not seem to bother me.
No, not ticketed. Didn't call Police. Usually if Policeman hasn't seen the incident, no ticket. TN has low driving standards---so lots of idiots driving. Not just Tennessee John. We have far too many drivers here in the UK who think it’s an acceptable risk to drive with a mobile phone clamped to their ear! We used to have more traffic cops to enforce traffic laws, but not now so drivers think they’ll not be caught. Makes for a riskier ride for us on 2 wheels though.
