« on: July 27, 2011, 12:45:28 AM »
hello friends,
I am about to replace my wiring harness and I am not sure of the exact year of my scooter earily 2000's I believe. I have found a wiring harness for a 2009 for sale and was thinking aobut trying to use that, but I am not sure if they are compatable it seems to be pretty similar I cant find any discrepencies. would this be a poor choice??
Thanks again for the read friends.
Brian

I cant start it.. there is a shrt some where. hince "no electricity getting anywhere" battery and fuses are good but there is  problem somewhere in the harness. ot it is an ignition issue. too hot to work in the garage the last couple days heat index over 110, with hella humidity.

??? Was driveing home this morning and rounding a corner the scooter just died. no juice getting to motor turn signals or horn, fuses are intact. So frustrating, I think I will have to order a new wiring harness...

Agility 50 / how much oil does the agility take during oil change?
« on: July 21, 2011, 03:34:52 AM »
Just wondering if I can only pick up just one quart or if I need to pick up two since the new motor should use reg oil, and everything else in my garage take full sythetic..
many thanks,
Brian.

I was reading in another forum "scootdawg" I think, that if you do the math on the gear ratio's switching the secondairy is not advantageous for gaining more speed actually the opposite.

Yea I have a 50mm cylinder on it aswell I have been babying it untill it breaks in then I am getting the exhaust, bigger carb, and up jetting again. I had a friend in a car hit 30 and my spedo said 37 so I was not very impressed with accuracy of it. I am running 7.5 gr weights though. not sure it I should play with those yet it seems to get to speed just fine so far.

Have not found it yet I have seen the 2 fuses comeing off the battery so it is probly under the foot rest. I have finally had a chance to take the scoot out since the motor upgrade and I think the cdi must had been previously cut or replaced due to burying the neddle to the odometer's corner.
That would not be possible in not cut right? "I was going down a hill" but on flat ground it is registering 50 so actually 42-43mph I assume. Is my thought process flawed? or can I give up my search??
Thanks
 Brian.

When I got the scooter it had been through some ruff times, laid down at least once probly twice. there was nothing covering the battery, I had to make sure that I didnt rest my feet on it at first it is sunken into the foot rest if that makes sence there are just the 3 wires coming off the battery going to the frame and back I think. I can post a pic if someone came explain how to do it.
Thanks,
 Brian
