People 250 / Help, trying to change oil
« on: April 07, 2015, 12:20:46 AM »
Hi, i just drained the oil and accidentally drained some of my tranny fluid i think. I was looking for the oil filter and screen screw, but unscrewed the large bolt underneath on the right hand side and it released red fluid, was that my gear oil. Cause if so I need to replace the fluid that came gushing out by accident. I need to know which fluids came out and from where so I can replace, this was my first time trying. I kept looking at the picture on the manual from online, and still hit the wrong screw. what's the big screw that's underneath the crankcase on the right hand side, red fluid came out of that one, and I guess oil came out from the other side that took at 17mm wrench to loosen

People 250 / rear shock adjust
« on: October 29, 2014, 04:24:24 PM »
Hi, I have searched for images, and videos, and nothing, at least with my previous scoot, they had videos, I didn't have to constantly ask for help. But anyway, anyone know how to use the tool to adjust the rear shock, I want to try the 3rd setting and see if that will feel better until I order my yss shocks, thanks

ok, now I'm really worried, I just look at the white coolant window with a flash light, and I don't see any liquid in there. Now I just brought this scoot from an owner who brought it new, but she only put 179 miles on it. Now the white coolant window box should show some kind of coolant right? If so, mines is empty, and I think it never had anything in there, as I never saw anything in it.

Hi, all rode my scoot today, beautiful weather here in Texas, I noticed my coolant level looks low through the window, it's below half, with only 230 miles on the scoot. Anyway what kind of coolant is safe to add, that can be purchased at Auto Zone without messing up the scoot, thanks. Or should I wait for my first service at 600 miles

People 250 / Re: What is this, please, it seems loose

@TLRam1, that's the exact pic, now you have the same thing, so it do belong there, mines in loose and starting to hang on one side, is it needed, or can I take it off.
