Top speed on mine is 62 mph, i'm about 185 lbs, cross winds definitely suck on this bike! Feel like i'm getting whipped around like a chicken!

If that reflective tape doesn't get you noticed, I don't know what will! Cool look though! Bet it took some time to get that tape straight lol, with my shaky hands anyways  :o

Found this useful video on youtube, now only if I had a floor jack, but I guess anything that would provide a good solid base would work! Going to check this method first, then i'll call the dealer if it is indeed out of round. Buddy of mine said the jumping around like that while the rear tire is off the ground is perfectly normal... so guess i need to recheck it.

Thanks for all the input, like I said it only bugs me at around 40 mph, any more or less and i can't notice anything. Only 400 miles so far on these tires, wanted to switch to city grips, but can't justify paying even more when I just bought a brand new like!

General Discussion / Re: Getting back on after a crash.

I popped a wheelie on my '89 Honda CBR 600 Hurricane (very pretty bike that I completely remodeled - love the older styles), in a mall parking lot trying to show off and it threw me off the back of the bike, hurt my back pretty bad, stopped riding after that. 10 years later, I bought my Kymco Like! I figured if I buy something more practical (and not as fast) that my chances "might" be better at doing something stupid again. I'm helping the environment, keeping a huge useless car off the road, and having fun while commuting to work every day!

Perfect weather for riding! Have at it! Enjoy the fresh air and the open road, there's nothing better in my opinion  8)

I get about 50% of the riders I pass that throw "the wave" out to me, personally i'd rather keep my hands on the handlebar especially in Austin traffic, LOL  :o

General Discussion / Re: Mounting a Kodak Playsport on a Kymco Like
« on: April 15, 2015, 01:40:35 PM »
I saw a vid on youtube where this guy mounts his playsport inside of his full face helmet by rigging up a velcro strap inside where a breather would normally go, that's just too claustrophobic for me, especially in hot ole' Texas.

So I decided to purchase the following mount:

http://www.amazon.com/Action-Camera-Handlebar-Tripod-Mounting/dp/B005ISU8BU/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1429105101&sr=8-7&keywords=usa+gear+mount

Decided i'm going to try mounting it on the left handlebar first, if that doesn't work i'll find some other way to rig it up. Thanks for your thoughts & opinions!  :D :D :D

Is my tire out of round, or am is the bouncing of the rear of the bike while up on the center stand normal while the throttle is opened?

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7BR-J_F0L5g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I usually get a slight vibration around 40-45 mph, but it usually disappates, i've heard good/bad things about these kenda tires...

Anyone ever tried to mount a Kodak Playsport on one of their Kymco Machines? I hate how bulky GoPros are, just wasn't sure if one of those $12.95 mounts from Amazon would work, or would the video be too bumpy? Any suggestions? I have a Kodak Playsport ZX3 as seen in the below picture

LIKE 200i / Air intake tube

Why doesn't kymco connect the air intake tube to the actual intake port? When I was doing my valve clearance last night, I noticed that these two parts could have been easily connected and would result in fresher & cooler air coming in as opposed to  where this intake port currently is (pointed down and next to a warm engine).

Walked into work the other day with my hi viz jacket on, carrying my helmet & the security guard asked why I had all that gear if I was just riding a scooter? The stupidity of some people, I didn't even bother responding to his question. It's that type of idiot that causes accidents in the first place.
