Agility 50 / Re: Where can i get a de-restricted variator boss!?
« on: March 28, 2010, 01:54:22 AM »
Hi there, I am over in the UK and luckily enough mine had a derestricted boss already in it. There are a few threads with pictures of how to do your cdi its not hard just be careful and stop when you have cut through the wire.

If you could take a look at my post, i need to know where some bits got on my agility as i bought it in bits. If you could just take a peek at yours and answer my post asking where things go.

I will try and find the pics for you and post the link to the thread

Does the airbox intake pipe connect to anything at the other end? Does it go on the front of the transmission cover if not where does the pipe from that go to?

Can someone with an agility please please just look and tell me, or even better a picture. thanks.

You can use super glue in the crack to hold it, i think you call it crazy glue, then reinforce it at the back with epoxy.

But why buy another speedo when the one you already have can be set to be accurate by putting a sat nav on your bike for ten minutes, seeing how much your speedo is out compared to the sat nav speed and when you stop putting a little bit of tape or a marker at the real speeds.

so if your doing 30 on the sat nav and your speedo shows 33 just put a 30 sticker at 33 the same with 40 and so on.

Its not rocket science, you cant get more accurate than satelite tracking.

I just checked my spare petcock for my Zx50 and there is a rubber o-ring around the filter/screen tube that goes in first.  I think that acts as the seal.

I got the biggest pair of pipe grips i could find and gave it an extra 1/4 turn it seems to have sealed now.. ;D

It depends but the 2 stroke will be about 5 to 10 mph faster in my opinion.

Why would you want to completely replace the speedo with a bicycle one insted of just recalibrating it once with a sat nav?  ??? Then its done forever.

The 2 stroke one will always be quicker as it fires every stroke not every other stroke., but it wont feel as strong as the the 4 stroke.

The 4 stroke agility will be more reliable in the long run, will do more than double the gas mileage and not need to be filled with 2 stroke oil all the time.

Its all about personal choice, but the 2 stroke will always be a bit faster.

If i select kymco it wont give me any options in the next drop down box. If i select Yamaha it does. I have no idea why. Can anyone just look for me and tell me if it has a seal might be easier.

Its much quicker and a lot easier to do it yourself with a sat nav... ;)
