No more pictures - As soon as I got it back together the Missus took off on it.

Link to Service manual turned out to be dud if anyone can further assist?

Appears the speedo and ABS share the same sensor. As experienced by another member in their thread - one of the wires had broken just above the connector above the wheel well. The flex point when the handlebars are turned appears to be right on the loom connector.
With very little spare  wire protruding from the loom, ended up cutting the connector off. Pulled the connector plug apart and soldered in two extension tails.
Soldered the extended tails to the loom wires and covered with heat shrink and taped up.

Congrats on the good DNA there De Dee. I can only hope I'm still on the road at 82.

Downtown 300 / 300i ABS light on & speedo off
« on: October 01, 2015, 08:41:37 AM »
Hello all

Just purchased a Downtown 300i for my wife with 5800km on the odometer.

Today whilst riding the ABS light came on and the Speedo needle dropped to 0.

Is this a known issue?

Are there any links available for workshop manuals for this model?

Cheers
