Technical | How To / Re: Kymco Sento 50 VIN
« on: March 28, 2018, 06:55:31 PM »
It says it will be under the plastic VIN panel, but it was not there. It also doesn't show any signs of tamper or removal so that's why I am confused.

I've looked on most of the frame but can't seem to find anything...

Manual doesn't say much other than to check under the VIN panel. Will an engine block number work for title?

Pulled off the VIN cover on the neck of my Sento 50 and there is no VIN stamped there.  >:(  There does not appear to be any scratching or removal of the VIN so I am wondering if there is somewhere else I can check...

It's not stamped on the engine or frame anywhere that I can find...

Thoughts?

Technical | How To / Kymco Sento 50 Rear Wheel Removal
« on: January 25, 2016, 09:13:02 PM »
Any advice on how to get the rear wheel off of a Kymco Sento 50?

I got the axel nut off, but now the metal part of the wheel that the tire physically sits on will not come off, so I can't get the new tire on.

Am I missing something? If not, any advice?

Is there a way to check and see if my petcock on a Kymco Sento 50 is working properly?

I think gas may be coming through the vacuum port but I am not sure.

I just connected these fuel and vacuum lines and as soon as I poured gas in the tank, it leaked from the end of the vaccuum tube that was not connected to the petcock.

Is there a reason gas would even come out of the bottom port on the petcock?

Hey thanks for the help, I uploaded some new pics with numbers and an additional angle of where each tube plugs in.

Can you help me verify where these go?

Technical | How To / Kymco Sento 50 Fuel Lines
« on: October 07, 2015, 04:00:15 PM »
Hi all,

To preface, I am not very mechanically oriented, but am pretty good at working with what I've got and figuring it out.

That being said, I bought a Kymco Sento 50 from some folks a few weeks back that had the fuel lines, vacuum lines and petcock all disconnected.

Long story short, I have no idea what part of the petcock it for the vacuum tube and which is to for the gas lines. I've also found an extra tube that isn't connected to anything.

Any help identifying what tubes go where would be great.
