Agility 50 / Re: Questions after 80cc upgrade

So yeah, I made it to work by changing the spark plug to new and changing main jet to #88. But at 3/4 throttle it gets hikup. Whats the problem?

It ran very well, only had some problems with idle sometimes, but everything else was perfect.

Agility 50 / Questions after 80cc upgrade
« on: July 16, 2016, 08:17:33 AM »
Hello. So I installed 80cc (81.3cc 54mm) BBK just because it would be easier to sell this scooter next year.

What is the correct valve clearance for this 80cc bbk? In kymco manual says 0.4mm, but others use 0.004inch.
What weight of rollers you suggest me to use? ( I got 5.3g, original, 9g )

And I don't want to create another topic:
When I managed to turn it on, I didn't manage to get it to work properly. Only 2 or 3 times I was able to make it to the max throttle, other times failed. It just can't go over not even stable idle. There was a lot of unburnt fuel and my secondary air system (i guess it is a pump) started to be confusing. Bottom cover kept getting off because of the air pressure that came in, it even broke the sides of cover... Yes i have changed the spark plug to new (the old one was doing pure sparks).
And also when I touch my rear brake cable to the scooter, it gets short circuit. (I got some smoke coming from the bottom of the scooter one time when managed to burn my starter and I took it of). Then the spark plug was old.

It's not possible to turn on with el. Starter, 82cc bbk is too big upgrade so the starter is no more able to spin the variator... I dont even know if it says correctly, because diameter of cylinder is 54mm

Does chinnese model for real fits exactly the same as kymco one? I need to make my kickstarter work, because I burned my starter while trying to turn on 82cc bbk ;D

Hello.
I broke my KYMCO AGILITY 50 variator cover case and I need new one. I put in some pictures of it. Can you offer something to replace it with, I mean a shop which ships to Lithuania.

Well done for checking plug = its funny how we forget to check the obvious sometimes.

How is it running with the light weights - you are at the lightest recommended weight.. improvements/drawbacks? Thanks
With these rollers i got some improvement - it goes much better on hills and better take offs :)

Yesterday I changed the main jet to #84 ant it's still the same or even worse. I checked the spark plug and it was not fully screwed in, and when I pulled it out, i saw that the spark plug's case was burned from one corner. Could it be the proglem? I'm still going to buy a new one

Variator isn't the problem. Changed it to default and tried to ride but it still happens.
I am thinking to change the main jet to bigger one (#84), because of higher RPM - higher fuel consumptions.

I'll try to remove cover and see if the belt is going off the variator.

Why do you think it didn't require #82 main jet? The main was probably #80, never changed it, but maby last owner did change it earlier, because i bought it with already installed derestricted drive boss

Hi everyone. I derestricted my scooter and now I'm having problems with it.

I didn't need to change variator boss roller, because it was already changed before, so I only changed the whole variator to Naraku High Speed variator with 5.3g rollers. Also changed the drive belt to a new one for lightly tuned scooters. Then I changed the CDI to Naraku Race CDI (no rev limiter). Last I did change is carburetor main jet up to #82.
I tested it once and it goes ~65-70Kmh, and 80+ Kmh downhill. Later I tried it again and the problems have started. When I go with scooter ~ 55-65kmh, it starts to lose RPM till it fully turns of if I don't release the throttle. Also same thing going uphills (had to stop 3 time till drived up ~100m uphill).
My father told that it could be the too small main jet (#82). I live in Lithuania, it's ~0 to +4 degrees celsius right now, not much above sea level.

Where do you guys think is the problem?
