Post a Craiglist ad
Make some fliers and post them around town

You get some responses, but maybe not.

Yes   Carb problem.  Buy a can of carb cleaner ($%), take off carb, clean it, replace.   They have videos on youtube for your make and model.

Make sure spark plug is gapped right.
replace fuel filter-  Napa sells universal ones ($4)

Lets us know

Who needs a club?

Depends on what you want.

Basic ride
Charity runs

If you just want to ride with a few people every now and then, no club needed.

Do you want structure and organized events, runs, camp outs, etc

If all members pay dues with a Treasure keeping track and depositing money in a bank. Get a club.

Then you can find a small building and rent it, now you have a club house.

I would have a group sit down and explain your concerns. If that don't work, I would roll on to a different club or form one with different by laws or ???   Its better to have fun and comradeship, then to see who can go the fastest or the coolest.

Start a club with 125cc and under.

That sucks. Hope it changes for you.   Just wondering- do you have like by-laws for your club?

Our club has 50cc to 400cc restrictions.   But no one should ever be left behind. Enjoy the ride and friendships.

Super 8 150 / Air Cleaner idea

I need to replace my air cleaner soon 2013 Super 8 150), I was just wondering something.   Instead of buying one online.   A local ATV shop in town has filter material (Uni Filter Bulk Fine Foam Filter) that you cut to fit. I was wondering if this would work on Kymco's???   So basically would have to rip out the air cleaner material from the original, then cut to fit.

Would save a lot of money.

Final outcome after the aggravating starting, sputtering problem.

1) Cleaned carb per the videos
2) New spark plug
3) Blew out air cleaner
4) Fuel Filter- universal from Autozone
5) Autozone charged the battery- because I worn it down trying to start it about week ago.

Took a few mins, but it did start up and drove nice. better throttle response for sure. I will drive more tomorrow and see what happens.

I will still have to get valves done soon, plus getting a new air cleaner and battery.

Thanks to the forum members for assisting with video links and advice

2013 Super 8.  Runs kind of choppy on the throttle into it warm up real good. Then if I stop for an hour break, its a pain getting it restarted. Today worn the battery down trying. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem??   I'm thinking more on the lines of flooding.

I have not changed the spark plug. I bought it used, so I don't know about the previous owner either.

@Crossbolt    I feel your pain.  I have no solutions either. Except for a about 20 pennies that mysteriously fly out your window.  LOL
