Many Honda Magna 250 / VT250C accessories may fit your Venox (it shares about 80% of the same parts).
Check it out as the Honda VT259C was imported there... unlike the USA where it was not.

This topic refers to the FITH GEAR EXHAUST which is no longer avaliable.
The ''POWER PROS'' is still being offered from KYMCO.BIZ

Here is a topic on it installed:

Another Shot gun exhaust install (POWER PROS)
''. Wow what a difference in sound. Much louder than stock and ...'

Its from the same source we get the rear sprocket upgrade.

If you are going to replace your chain you should go ahead and get the new Rear Sprocket which will be the BEST thing you can do for the Venoxes riding performance.

FACT:Kymco & SYM

Honda/Taiwan started the company in 1963 that eventually became Kymco & SYM.
Kymco & SYM are both spin-offs from the same original Honda/Taiwan company.

This is a myth.

FACT:

Honda started the company that later became Kymco  in 1963 as Taiwan Honda , at that time Taiwan was a   lower cost labor source just like ALL companies are now sourcing parts in China / India etc. for the same reasons.

Eventually the company that was started split into two different companies: KYMCO & SYM's as they are today with Honda no longer being involved in corporate decisions .

The Venox comes with a 38 tooth rear sprocket. The replacement is a 44 tooth specially made by SPROCKET SPECIALISTS out of California. The kit includes a new chain which also should be changed if you have any milage.

( + new chain )

We have many topics at piwyr.co.cc about this mod and also about replacement exhaust systems . (we have been collecting Venox information since 2006)

The main topic with ordering is in a registered (posting) member only forum.

G Day aus250..

Glad to see a member from 'down under' riding/owning a Kymco Nox 250

Here is your answer:

What you have is a bike that is geared really to high in 5th gear. Its almost a 1:1 ratio, an 'overdrive'. A real issue for a new rider with steep hills or going into strong winds. This is about the only issue about this great bike.

What we at piwyr.co.cc recommend is a rear sprocket replacement. Many have done this mod and ALL AGREE it is the best mod you can do for the bike. We even set up a couple shipments from the USA resource to Spain where they have had the bike since 2002.

With out this mod your only choice to step down a gear to 4th to get back into a power band. The problem with this is it revs the engine really high (no issue with any damage as the Nox has a rev limiter) which hurts gas milage.

Get the rear sprocket upgrade and your Nox will feel like you have added cc's !!

zombie has made some key points...and

Over the past 6 years on our forum ''most'' issues about getting parts seem to fall back into the 'Dealiars' lap.
Many 'pass the blame' to the distributer after several things happen, IE: forgot to place the order, OR... waiting to make a larger 'bulk' order to save shipping.

The above points are what we have found behind most of the problems getting parts.

Quannon / Re: is the 125cc the same as the 150cc
« on: February 22, 2010, 03:43:23 PM »
MRP is a USA parts source, that is why its listed as for the 15Occ, which is how the QUANNON comes in the USA.
They are GREAT people to deal with so as suggested contact them and they will tell you the 'straight scoop' as to if it would work for the 125cc.
