I just put a 150-70-14 on my Kymco Super 8 and it fits… Did have to modify the splash guard on rear tire. Handling is fine better if anything as I have exactly the same ratio as before with a slightly larger from tire. One thing I did definitely notice is that take off is slightly slower and RPM slightly lower for same speed.Highly recommend this tire over the original ride is so much better and smoother. For a good place to locate this tire try Chaparel my brand is Shenko sort of like the Cheng shin original which I got 5000 miles out of on pavement roads and it was still legal when I took it off. Front tire still going at 15,000 but is getting close to tread marks. bought a Michelin 120-70-14 City Grip and it lasted 2000 miles and was toast (Illegal) so didn't have a good experience with the Michelin thought maybe I got the wax prototype it wore out so quick… I ride all year long Rain Snow shine -20 doesn't matter if it's not fresh slick snow thats slicker than… I go. Hope this helps all who are seeking this answer. I looked for hours and found surprisingly nothing or no one who's tried it. Was shocked it actually worked… (literally Shocked) Praise Kymco for their insight to engineering a great scooter that performs well is easily adaptable to oversized tires and designing a scooter that can withstand a crash and still come out not badly scathed. Well done in their design.
