You're doing wheelies on a DT?

What are you smoking, because I want some too.

yeah i figured them out the other day, normally i can wheelie scooters no issue however the downtown illuded me for awhile due to its heavy cumbersome power to weight ratio. i essentially stand on the passenger pegs to bounce the wheelie up while dragging a bit of rear brake, then once its up, it wheelies.
i just wanted to know whats the best  variator and pullies to get to squeeze some more acceleration out of the scoot.

Ill keep this short and sweet.
20,000km Service Due in 500km   - 20,000km = 12,000mile.
My 2013 Downtown 300i is 100% stock.

I do wheelies on my downtown, it struggles, i want more power / acceleration out of it

Whats the best of the best to gain acceleration, power

i dont wanna spend more then $800 on mods.

Yep, there is.
Press the right hand button of the three,
The oil change mileage is the one after "trip B",
Once on it, press and hold left and right buttons together, This will reset the oil change light to zero.
Oil change light comes on at 3000 miles.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Don.

thanks heaps, i was able to reset it. now only thing id like is AM/PM but it seems i cant remove this silly 24hr clock

Excellent video mate, I have the delkevic sitting in the garage!! I put it on, had it on for a couple of months and then had to take it off as the tone at a certain revs was annoying my eardrums!!
I mentioned this to my doctor and he said it had something to do with noise frequencies!!
Any how, it is a great exhaust.......... If your ears can cope  ;D ;D ;D
Cheers,
Don.

yeah i want a longer pipe, this is just TOOO loud for me.

Downtown 300 / Oil Service Light on after service
« on: September 30, 2016, 10:44:29 AM »
Hey,

So i did the service on my Downtown 300i
New transmission oil, New engine oil.
double checked oil levels etc and now this lights still on.

So my question is, When the scooter is serviced at a dealer, does it have some countdown timer etc that sets off the oil service light?

Thanks
