The Auto Cock looked like it might come apart so I started twisting it.  The bottom of the Auto Cock unscrews from the top and there is a cylindrical fuel filter inside.

I'll ask if they sell this filter but, no way I'll buy the whole unit to get it.  If that's the case I'll find one that matches up or take the element out and just install an inline filter.

Thanks for the help guys!

I see them as different items on the parts diagrams.

The Fuel Screen is about $5, the Auto Cock is about $30.

So, if you buy the Auto Cock they include the Fuel Screen with it?

Is the Fuel Screen is the only fuel filtering device on a People 50, 2 Stroke?

Aside from the fuel screen at the base of the tank, there is nothing else in the fuel line except the Auto Cock, which looks like a fuel filter.  The shop diagram also points out the Auto Cock as the Fuel Filter.

Does anyone know for sure if the Auto Cock on a People 50, 2 stroke, is also the fuel filter?

The parts guy at the dealer here doesn't seem to know.  I asked him to contact Kymco to find out.

If you look at the shop manual, P50 cap 02 (info generali)... Diagram 2-19 has a line pointing to the Auto Cock labeled as "Fuel Filter" (which confused me).  I'm assuming this is just a translation error?

I'm assuming the fuel screen is right at the fuel tank outlet?

There is a thread titled "people 50 project,"  the pictures show the lines coming out of the Auto Cock (looks just like my scooter), I have nothing between the Auto Cock and the carb.

Is the fuel screen all that is "stock" on this model?

(I have seen the pictures on the other thread).

Where is the location of the Screen Fuel Strainer?

Is the Auto Cock also the Fuel Filter?

I'm not interested in buying it, it is just that after the guy posted "QLINK by Honda" people started posting that he was misrepresenting what he had. The owner claims the title for it reads "Honda."

Is a QLINK scooter made by Honda?  There is a guy on Craigslist where I live claiming the QLINK scooter he has is tied to Honda.  He claims it is titled as a Honda.  Does anyone know anything about QLINK?

(I have a People, not looking to buy a QLINK, just wondering about it).

Being in vapor form may also help for a more uniform distribution of the H2O throughout the chamber.

Would it work and would it be safer / better or worse to use one of those home steamer cleaners?  You could place it at the air intake and let the carb suck the steam in?

I'm going to try some Marvel Mystery Oil in the tank and smoke everyone out of the neighborhood!

(People 50 2t)

Is there an additive that would remove carbon build up?

I have some Sea Foam. How strong could I mix it in with the gas before it does more harm than good?

Thanks.

I cleaned my air filter by hand then, spin cycled it the washer, let it dry.  Oiled it, squeezed it out, spin cycled it again, wiped the oil off the side of the washer tub, ran the washer empty with soap.
