I have over 15,000 miles on my People s200... still running the original rollers and belt. I orderd these parts a long time ago but never found the time.
Scoot-on!

The price is not real crazy... It's hard to get anything done for under 100 clams these days (sad to say), But I worry about a mechanic that thinks a valve adjustment is difficult. A tune up is easy (including valve adjustment), you can learn to do it yourself!

yes, fit the screen into the spring. fit it on the inside of the drain plug then incert into the engine. Any other way will be difficult and incorect. Also, Yes! change the oil at the recomended intervalse. Drain the old oil when the engine is still warm. Scoot On!!

Mike,
welcome to the forum. I'm glad to hear you like your People s200! I thind the People is a very cool scooter! I don't pay attention to those vintage scooter folks when they give me a hard time about the modern KYMCO (as I've been riding vintage scooters longer than most of them). Scoot On!!

My longest ride was about 300 miles in one day on my vespa p200 (on my way to Ameravespa in Seattle a few years back). I also have a People s200 and find it very comfortable and I would think it would be good for a long days ride. What Rally are you going to?

How cold is cold? I'd start with giving her a basic tune up, new plug, set the valves etc.

Wow, I looked up the KYMCO Pulsar. She is a nice looking motorcycle. We don't get those here in the U.S.  Good luck finding what you need!

Where are you located? hear in the U.S. I call these cats: http://www.kymcopartsonline.com/catalog/ . Also, I don't know the Pulsar Luxe, put if it's a scooter it's engine is probably some type of a GY6. Hope this helps.

Wow, 34,000 miles without a valve adjustment! It is deffinetly over due! As you need to remove much tupper wear, it is a good way to get to know your scooter!

How many miles are on that belt? my People s200 is just starting that behavior. She has 13,000 miles on her. I was planning on a new belt the next time I find some free time.
