I've had my zx50 for about a month.  It's modified out and does about 45 regularly.  I also drive it in the cold.  A week or two ago I was on it in 18 degree weather, windchill about 5.  I wear my suit, suit jacket, Trench Coat, full shield helmut and cheap walmart embark gloves (10$ US).  Ofcourse it's alot better to do now that I learned I can actually close the vents in my helmut.  LOL Today its 35 degree, and still piles of snow on the side of the roads.  It's 8 am and I will be riding in about 30 minutes.   ;D

They just replaced the spark with a new one...Here's what happens...it runs fine, unless I get it wet.  As soon as the slightest moisture hits the thing it stalls out (actually, it putters out and then dies.  I then have to wait ten minutes before I can start it again.

WHOA! You people are awesome.  I didn't know that there was a Euro wiring and a US Wiring.  You just saved me HOURS of work because I was about to pull all the plastic off and trace all the wiring!  Just one question though...would this US wiring thing explain why i don't have a licence plate light, or a speedometer light?  Or is that probably just the bulbs?

I just bought a zx50 that was souped up with alot of after market items.  The dealer told me that there was only one level of headlight (not hi and lo) but I noticed that there IS a place for lo beams.  I also noticed that all of the other lights (licence plate, body turn signals, and back body running lights) are not working.  Before I tear the plastic off of this scooter, does anyone know of a reason why all of these lights might be off at once?

My zx50 stalls and won't run whenever I ride it on even the slightest wet ground. Is there any way to fix it so I can actually ride my scooter on a damp ground?
