Super 9 / Just bought a Super9 today. Not sure where it stands.

Just picked up a 2005 Super9 LC from a Socal native today for 1500. Not sure if I overpaid but Zumas go for about 1200 bucks around here but I heard the Super9 was the best 50cc Two-stroke out of the box. It was hard to get in and out from the minivan but I finally got it home. I just threw my helmet on, kick-started it and took off. There are a lot of hills around me so I wanted to see what it could do. I am guessing that the previous owner had this thing dialed in since it had a technigas exhaust and could do about 50+ on the flat straight (Though I was ringing it to redline at 8500+ RPMs). I am guessing that is good for a stock Super 9 with bolt-ons from what I have read but my friends are into the whole extended swingarm 150cc swapped Ruckus movement and their bikes seem so much faster albeit they probably have 10K into the bike. Other than the 70cc kits out there, is this pretty much what the Super9 will do? I still want to keep it reliable so I just need to manage expectations. This is the first two wheeled vehicle I have owned since I looped my sportbike in 02 and the wife said NO MORE bikes for you buddy. I only convinced here because I said it was automatic and that she didn't need a license to ride it.
