Agility 50 / Re: CDI Restriction

My 2015 Super 8 based on the Agility platform took me from 28 to 33-35 after pulling the purple/red wire.

Are the wires exposed or do you have to hack in with a saw? If so, what part of the box do I hack? I have 2014 ag50

Ok, so this is what's confusing me. A lot of people say these upgrades are great and some say pointless. I've also read that the 2014 agilitys don't have a restricted cdi like the earlier models that you can hack into. I haven't ordered parts yet so any info is greatly appreciated by those who have had good results from these mild mods.

Agility 50 / Bigger carb or bigger jet?
« on: March 28, 2017, 04:33:39 AM »
Have a stock 2014 agility and soon getting 2000rpm clutch springs, molossi variator, 6-7grm dr pulleys, shorty muffler.

I'm looking to be able to hit hills. Not worried about top speed.

Should I get a bigger carburetor or bigger jets?

Any advice is much appreciated!

I'm new to the forum world and don't know if this is how to reply to posts but I saw that you at one time sold variators. Do you still sell parts? I live in Hawaii if that makes a difference. Thanks
Hi,

Sorry I don't sell parts anymore but I can offer help finding the best
parts for the best prices if you need.

What bike do you have?
.
OK Cool...

The first thing "I" would do is get a Malossi red control spring for the
rear clutch. That's the big spring that makes all the difference.

That will give you better take-off, and better hill climbing. It's
minimal at best so.... What you really need to make a 49cc scooter BEST
is... 300.00 bucks.

Start off with a Malossi RED control spring. Add the RED clutch fly
springs from Malossi or Polini.

DO NOT BUY ANY Ebay spring kits UNLESS they say Malossi or Polini. The
springs control the bike. PERIOD!

Next I would get a 20-24mm carb. These are for 125-150cc bikes. The
reason for them is to allow more air into your air pump, (engine). They
cost about 30.00 bucks on Ebay. Along or next.. with the carb., get a
"shorty muffler".

The air into the pump (engine) needs to flow out...

Now that the bike is around 40 mph on flats... Get a Jasil (top racing)
or Polini variator, and DR. Pulley 6-7 gram sliders. This entire combo
in that order will cost under 300.00 bucks, and get you into the 50mph club.

The Variators sell for about 100.00. That's the only expensive part. The
rest is cheap if you buy them one at a time.

Just so you know... I recently posted on MadDog.com about a 49cc QMB139
that I run a 50mm cylinder kit on. I've run that kit for about 5 years,
and it needs a rebuild about once a year. Total cost, including CVT
parts is around 130.00 bucks. Cheaper than one car tire.

Feel free to post up my replies to your questions on the forum. The same
questions that you have, have been asked 100,000,000,000,000 plus times
but somehow the same question is asked again...

Respect to you for asking!!!! If you find what I replied helpful... Post
it in your thread.Rather than ME helping, it will be YOU!

Good luck, and if you need links to parts, just ask.
