Agility 50 / Re: lowering blocks?
« on: May 10, 2011, 04:08:21 PM »
no you cant adjust the forks but you can take them out put a groove in the top 1/2" down (done on the lathe) and put them back in the yoke. there for lowering the bike 1/2" by adjusting the forks.
sorry for the confusion not very good at explaining things:)
i will be doing an extended engine craddle soon aswell to give the stretched out look that the japs are big on at the moment coupled with the lowering should look "the muts nuts!"

the perks of owning a lathe are i get to fab all my own parts!:)

right so they work then good! picking up a spare set of forks today so going to modify them on the lathe so they will be 2" shorter plus the 1/2" i did when i adjusted the top mounts :) now just need to either make a lowering block or get a shock :)

not to start an argument but i too got told 0.10 by my local dealer style motorcycles in bramley england
but like wordslinger and the other gods of kymco i know a lot more people who do it to 0.04.
could it be a fuel thing ie in england we have 97octane and 99 octane or am i just talking s**t? either way mine easly go's to the 50mph mark on a slight down hill and does 40-45 on the flat. but down to 20 up hill and that is straight form the dealer (with them deristricting it and playing with it)
