Where can I purchase a new underbelly panel for my 2008 Super 9. I just discovered where a rock took a chunk out.

I cleaned out the tank checked the fuel filter and also drained my yamalube which was from 2 years ago and put in Interceptor by Amsoil. I also filled up with 93 octane that was available just over the border in NH. i took it for a nice long ride today and it seems to have come out of its funk. I also put 1 ounce of Seafoam in the fuel tank. I'm not going to use the Seafoam all the time so should i put more in for the one time cleaning.

A ittle white smoke very little but it goes away within a few minutes. The carb looks clean. I have drained the fuel tank and put fresh gas in it along with a new spark plug. i wiped it all out and i took it for a long ride this morning and it was better but there was still a little oil that appears to be coming from the carb. Not much but enough to cause to hesitate if you slowly go up on the throttle. it doesn't do it all the time but I was also wondering if perhaps the float bowl is dirty or has something in it. Does the super 9 have a fuel filter

Super 9 / Throttle problem
« on: March 30, 2012, 04:14:46 PM »
I was going through my S9 after setting for the winter and when i take it out if you slowly turn the throttle it wll eventually stall but start right back up. I have also noticed at full throttle sometimes it backs off for a second then accelerates. i only have 1725km's on this scooter. Today I took off the air cleaner and I noticed oil between the carb and the air cleaner. I don't know if the carb just needs adjusting or if there is another problem. I took it for a long ride today and it performed beautiful but when you stop and start to accelerate it bogs down. any thoughts. Thank you

Super 9 / Super 9 Electric start problem
« on: April 02, 2010, 07:26:36 PM »
I'm not sure what happened but one day last year my electric start stopped working. I could kick start it but that was it. I had all but given up. I pressed the start button and you could hear it click but nothing. The fuse was fine but I thought it could be the Starter relay so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and all of a sudden it worked. Has anyone had a problem like this. I'm trying to figure out if it is a short? Also, there are two extra fuses underneath the battery compartment. One matches the fuse that is right there under the battery but the other one is bigger. does anyone know where the bigger one goes?. Thanks, Max
