Did you find the problem?

Your fuel filter is clogged.  When the tank is full more head pressure is available to push the fuel through the partially cllogged filter.  How many miles, where do you live and is the fule quality known to be bad?

You are probibly right that it was the electrical harness.  Have you heard of other Kymcos with this issue?

My wife's new People 150 would stall out at cruise speed, then restart.  It did this repeatedly.  After the dealer checked/replaced nearly everything in the electrical system (except the electrical harness).  I freaked out and demanded a replacement machine, which I got and we both love it.  I really hope your issue is figured out.

I can't find this info.  Appreciate any help.

This has been a great bike.  It is my wife's, but I steal it often.

Technical | How To / Oil Change Every 620 miles Really Needed?
« on: September 05, 2010, 08:08:12 PM »
The People 150 Service manual shows changing oil every 1000 km / 600 miles.  This seems excessive, as my Honda Reflex shows oil changes every 4000 miles.

I tend to change oil more frequently than required and I thought every 1000 miles on the Kymco and every 1200 miles on the Honda would work, esp w/synthetic oil.

Even though I am not a religious son-of-a-b*tch, I live by the simple Biblical maxim: Do what thou wilt, if it harm none (except your own dumb a$$, possibly).  ;)

I fast enough, I'd buy a bigger one, too, rather than to start doing mods out the yang.  ;)
.
This is either a Wiccan quote or part of a quote by the infamous satanist named Alester Crowley.  Look it up.

That is the same scoot my wife owns (and I ride more than her).  Very good handling and power.

I need to know the capacity for wife's safety.  Might try this test myself, keeping a small container of gas on board.

My wife's Peep 150 will cruise comfortably at 50 mph.  It will go ~64 mph, but this seems a bit taxing.  I am not familiar with the road you mention, but for long highway rides consider a "maxi-scooter".

People 150 / Running Lights?
« on: July 11, 2010, 09:28:54 PM »
My motorcycle and Helix have running lights that illuminate the front turn signals.  Our People 150 does not have these.  Should the front turn signals be illuminated or is my bike faulty??
