they re very reliable
my one been fitted 72 cc kit runs so well , just make sure everytime before fill up gas tank. put like two caps of 2 stroke oil
in side tank , it will be sweet. my last 14000 km before stolen today >:(

I used to own a SYM dd 50  2 stroke  i lived in auckland new zealand, 1.5 million population city.

with modification  70 CC engine  roller spring and exhaust.
It is great ! Runs well no need much maintenance. Last long.
My brother uses it now , he added wrong oil in the bike he added lawn mower oil
and seize engine.  however after all petrol and oil drain out of it. Add proper bike 2 t oil
it still runs well  ;D

go for CBR 250

I own a quannon 125 , ride it daily in sydney. Here car driver are crazy the little 125 has difficulties to keep up.
Though I love my bike due to its economy my thoughts of the quannon :
bad side: slow , too soft suspension , only 5 speed
good side : fuel economy , cheaper to maintain due to single cylinder air cool , good for learner

previously own a SYM DD50  2 T moped upgrade to 70 cc a fun little bike ;D !!
now own 125 quannon    :)

Model: Kymco quannon 125
Mileage: 7XXkm
Performance Upgrades: none
Location: New South Wales Australia
Climate: roughly 25 C sunny day
Rider weight: 75KG
Acceleration: Bike is slow in low rev but once over 7k RPM the 4 V engine is fine
Top speed: 85 KM/H on a up slope with mild to medium wind blowing
MPG: top up 10 ltr will last two weeks in city start stop start stop traffic
Notes: everything is factory , air cool 4v sohc engine
