:peekshisheadaroundthecorner: Mmmmyellow? Long time, eh? I had the same problem when I first got my S8. And, like Zombie said, you need to clean, and de glaze the clutch bell. I had the same exact problem. Opened it up, checked out what was doin' in there, and got cleaning, and scrubbing. Piut everything back together, and voila! Done and done.
No idea about the chips though....though by now, I'm sure that's been taken care of...
