People 150 / Could someone please explain how to set the time on the clock?

HELP -- I have tried holding down both buttons (expecting it would flash to set hr/min) but nothing seems to work. Owners manual has no instruction.
Could someone please provide clear instruction? -- Thanks in advance. (2007 People 150)
