Super 9 / MOD BUG!!!!
« on: May 17, 2013, 05:29:18 AM »
i  joined this forum 3 yrs ago as complete noob..ive learned so much from reading this forum and others.  my bike was a mostly stock 2005 super 9 lc. derestricted. since then i have added the following. 72cc malossi kit, open K&n filter 20mm intake, carbon reeds,  19mm dellorto carb jetted to 105, malossi variator ( removed plastic spacer added 10mph to top speed!!), 6.5 gram dr pulley sliders, leovince exhaust, 30% contra spring and polini 743/20/30 belt. travels 59 GPS mph on flat ground @ 10k rpm. what an amazing machine! mods started slow then suddenly a kit rebuild and i cant stop!! its a never ending cycle. one more mod = another mod! ive enjoyed tuning this bike to no end. ;D ;D  next project is new tires. so i am wondering is there an upgraded size that can be used?? like wider or maybe taller? currently using 130/70-12 rear 120/70-12 front. any ideas welcome!

Super 9 / fuel grade, oil type and spark plugs
« on: July 25, 2010, 08:24:46 PM »
whats up guys! i was at the pump the other day looking at the grades if fuel so i decided to fill with 93 grade. is this ok? what do yall use? also i know i have full synthetic oil is there a particular brand recommended? as for spark plugs im clueless feel i should replace mine at 2000km just to see if it helps any. iridium is more expensive but does it make that much more of a diff? im positive my spark is right kind its beautifully coated chocolate brown on the tip with no specks or crud. just a few more general questions for u scoot experts. im sure this could be usefull for other noobs like me lol thanks again guys btw i love this forum

Super 9 / temp and tuning.
« on: July 24, 2010, 05:00:20 AM »
ok so the temp finally dropped to a reasonable degree tonight on the way home from work... quickly i realized that my scoots accell was much better than earlier... 20 degree diff made a large improvement.. i notice the scoot wasnt running as welll lately but the temp has been  above 85 even at night and 85% + humidity. it hit about 77 and was running nice... this whole time i thought something was off i guess weather had my tuning off.. how do i adjust for this?
