People s200 / Re: People S 200 MPG's
« on: September 20, 2011, 01:15:47 PM »
So I drive my bike full tilt most of the time.  We have some hills here on the PA,DE boarder, so it is not totally flat.  I figure I am getting about 65 MPG.  I might be getting a little better than that, but I don't know for sure.  It seems like I fill my bike about every 100 miles and put in about 1,3 gallons.  I guess that comes out a bit higher than 65.  i use the highest octane and I add fuel stabelizer as well.

People s200 / Air Filter
« on: May 24, 2011, 11:21:11 PM »
OK, so I dropped off my people s200 2 weeks ago this Thursday and on Friday they told me they were ordering an air filter.  I still don't have my bike back.  What gives, other than the fact that I need to learn to service my own bike.  Is it really that hard to get an air filter delivered to a Kymco dealer in Delaware?

People s200 / How do you get a coffee to the office

Stupid question, but is there a cup holder attachment for the 200s that can get a starbucks back to the office, or a fountain soda if you pick up lunch?  Just asking?

People s200 / Re: Anyone have an aftermarket windscreen
« on: November 29, 2010, 01:59:41 AM »
I just installed a Cuppinni a few weeks ago.  i agree with Mr.B, it takes about 5 mph off the top and and it seems a little slower on the pickup, but so worth it.  I got the tall screen and I have no wind noise around my head and I am comfortable down to about 45 degrees.  I stood up on my scoot today to see what it would have sounded like if I got a medium hight like I thought I wanted and it was aweful!  Screaming loud.  I spent about $110, but can't remember for sure and it was worth every penny.  I will probably take it off in the spring again.  I am so not handy with tools and it took me only about 30 minutes to put it on, not bad considering that it only had directions in Italian.  I would say get one!!!

People s200 / Re: Hit 6000 Miles !!

I got mine in August and it has 1100 miles on it.  Runs better now than the first few weeks.  I just put a large winshield on it and am able to be comfortable down to about 45 degrees if sunny.  I don't ride at night, so not sure how cold it would feel.  I love my scoot!!!!!

I go with MoPed because it was the only way I could sell it to my wife when I wanted to get one!  I also like to tell people I drive a moped because it always gets the same funny look from them!

Hey All, I'm a new scoot owner and new to road bikes of any sort.  I bought my s200 last week and am grinning like a boarding school kid smoking pot!  I weigh in at 145 and have no trouble getting good speed out of my s200.  I have not fully wound it out yet, but have hit 65 indicated without much problem.  I guess it helps being a feither weight though!  Thanks for all the help this forum provided before I settled on a Kymco.
