I also have the 2015 4 stroke super 8. I was thinking of buying a derestricted cdi, but 2015 is not a popular year for this cdi. Does derestricting this model give it uphill power? I live in a hilly city and consider uphill power more important than greater speed.

There was a purple wire (purple w/ red stripe} that I just removed from the wire harness. no more RPM restriction
